Apple (medium), chopped 1 no

Cucumber (small), chopped cup

Cashew nuts (soaked) 8nos

Celery, chopped 1 tbsp

Ginger, chopped tsp

Lemon Juice 1 tbsp

Spinach, chopped cup

A handful of mint leaves

Cup of Moringa leaves

Kale, chopped cup

Ice cold water cup


1. In a mixer grinder add apple, cucumber, cashews, celery, ginger, lemon juice and cold water with ice. Blend it to combine until smooth.

2. Once it is mixed add all the leaves to it along with some ice cold water. Blend it well to make a smoothie. You can stain the green smoothie or it can be served as is.

3. Quick tip – make sure all the ingredients are cold and once the green smoothie is made serve it immediately.

2. Banana Smoothies

1 ripe banana

1 cup low-fat yogurt

cup of low-fat milk

A pinch of cardamom powder

2 tablespoons of honey

cup of walnut kernels + for decoration


1. Peel and cut the banana.

2. Blend the banana with yogurt, milk, honey, walnuts and cardamom powder until smooth.

3. Serve immediately garnished with walnut kernels.

3. Apple and Date Smoothie

2 cups cooled, peeled and roughly chopped apples

8 seeded and chopped black dates (kala khajur)

cup chilled whisked curds (dahi)

cup of ice-cubes


1. Combine the apples, dates, curds and ice-cubes and blend in a juicer until the mixture is smooth and frothy.

2. Pour equal amount of smoothie into 2 individual glasses.

3. Serve immediately.

2 medium avocados

20-30 baby spinach leaves

4 bananas, peeled and frozen

3 tablespoons blanched and peeled pistachios

2 cups of milk

2 kiwis, peeled

Banana slices for decoration

Orange segments for decoration

Fresh pomegranate pearls to sprinkle

Edible flowers for decoration

Halved almonds for decoration

Desiccated coconut for sprinkling


1. Deseed the avocado and remove the pulp. Transfer to a blender jar.

2. Add baby spinach leaves, banana, pistachio, milk and blend to a smooth puree.

3. Transfer to a serving bowl. Arrange kiwi, banana slices and orange segments on top.

4. Sprinkle pomegranate pearls on top.

5. Garnish with edible flowers and halved almonds.

6. Sprinkle desiccated coconut on top and serve.

5. Papaya Smoothie

2 cups papaya cubes

3/4 cup chilled milk

1/2 cup curd

1 tablespoon honey

1/2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla essence

12 ice-cubes


1. To make papaya smoothie, combine all ingredients in a mixer and blend until smooth.

2. Pour the papaya smoothie into 4 small glasses and serve immediately.
